KEEPING THE STARS ALIGHT
hi people. monsieur joey is back to blogging. back to his complains on everyday how life suck and on how society is destroying itself through killer litters and tobacco breathe. so stop making the eyes at me and i will stop making the eyes at you.
its funny how people tell me they cant quit smoking. if you are a smoker for 10,20+ over years i can understand. its not because you are addicted that you cant quit but the fact you have killed yourself for 10 20+ years so why not die earlier and we can keep the stars alight for alittle longer. but whats amusing is people of age like 16,17,18,etc tell me "oh its hard to quit smoking, if can i would have not chose to smoke in the first place". or "aiya,smoke so long alr cannot quit liao, i want to quit also cannot." or the best, "aiya you think i wanna smoke meh? damn stress then bo bian."
sounds silly, ridiculous to the limit and foolish?
damn right to the core.
i remembered theres was once this guy i talked to a fews years ago. i asked him why he smoked and he said because he wanted to its not because of stress or peer pressure or whatever. that honest answer somehow justiced the malboros and viceroys manufucktures. thats an answer i really really respect.
so smokers if you like tar and nicotine in your lungs? go ahead die as fast as you can.
well lets move on to another topic shall we. i saw the other day lee's nick was Righting Wrongs. and i was wondering whats really right and whats really wrong. and can it be possible to right your wrongs? see funny how people tend to forget the good you do in a few minutes or days but remember the wrongs you do for decades. the kind of mentality and thinking is destroying earth at an even faster pace than cigarettes (or ciggies/fags in those cool-wassup-dudes-slangers ' term). lets say you stood up for a friend against a bully one day, he thanks you, showing you the utmost appreciation saying that you will be bros for life. then the next day, he asked you to wait for him after school but it slipped your mind. WELL for this part its strictly variable. LARGELY DEPENDING ON YOUR BROS FOR LIFE BRO, he will either do 1 of 2 things. brand you as a singapore slang,"Bang Seh Kia, aiya forget it la." or "Wa lau you bang seh kia la LOL".
thats just 1 thing. =)
the 2nd thing is he will just keep quiet. the next thing you know, people are backstabbing you all over.
so is there any point in doing good and whats right at all?
well...i believe there is.
if you donate money, people will say you are showing off.
if you offer to help an elderly cross the road, people will say you damn act.
if you like kids and play with them, people say you act cute.
whatever. i will do it anyway.
i love stars. its not time for them to die yet.
